Introduction to Singularity methods

hi all !
i am a final year Civl Engineering student. I have chosen Singularity Method for my final year project. However, i have not yet found a great deal of information on this topic..Could anyone pleae suggest me some Premilinary Books or websites about the method ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what i sthis "singularity all about", areu modelling some stress singularity - a mechanics problem using finite elements ? or at least can any one let me know what is "singularity method" i ihavent heard of that Raj
