I am working on a control system at a 350 acre petroleum storage/distribution facility. ISA RP12.06, et al, seem to require that I run separate Intrinsic Safety ground conductors all the way back to the ground point for the facility’s main power service from each tank (literally miles of wire) where we are installing an intrinsically safe gauging probe. Is this correct?
