Intralink Workspace Export Fails

Does anyone have a trick or a hack to get the export from workspace to function?

Nothing gets exported to this path, c:\temp and the .proi.log file has this entry:
"Waiting for program to exit...
Program exited with failure : 1."

During migration this export is needed to resolve pending renames.

I'd suggest to re-execute the ptcsetup.bat of the Pro/I client.

The export function in workspace doesn't work.

Open the drawings you want to export in ProE and use
File > Backup

Another problem could be, if there are whitespaces in the export path.

As system admin we never rely on export from
workspace as its to unstable. Using Backup isn't.

Thank you to all that responded.

I certainly know about the ProE File, Backup process. If I
were working in ProE that would be the method I would
employ. Unfortunately the ProE backup method does not do
the same thing to the file header that the ProI Export does
to resolve the pending renames in the ProI database for
migration into PDMLink.

To migrate from Intralink to PDMLink I would definitely
not use export from Intralink as it's to unstable.

I would use a combination of trail files, mapkeys and
modelcheck to prepare files that needs to be altered and
a migration script using ProE and Backup to do the
actual migration of bulk data.
