INtools relationship to AM Meridian

We have purchased a product called Meridian. It is an EDMS for storing and managing our drawings. I am trying to find out if INtools would be able to be linked to Meridian, so that a person viewing the drawing in Meridian, could access the related data to that drawing in INtools.

We have recently implemented INTools here. We have an existing document control system called Asset Information Management (AIM) which is basically an Intergraph customised version of their document control system Directa.
Once we have generated an entry in our document control system, a link is generated over to INTools so that when a user wants to see a datasheet of a particular instrument, they are automatically shown a datasheet that resides in INTools. All changes are therefore controlled by INTools.
