Interpreting Mechanica Results

I've generated a reaction force graph from an analysis and I'm not really sure how to interperet the results. The graph shows distance along the curve on the X axis and Force/length on the Y axis. Is this showing me a distributed load profile where the total load is area under the curve?

Sorry about the delay of this response.

If I understand your question correctly, it would not necessarily show the total load.

A reaction force graph shows the beam reaction in only one direction (x,y,z) so the area under that graph wouldn't necessarily tell you the complete load on the beam. There are probably a few cases where this might be the situation but it depends on the situation.

(p.s. A friend of mine got a Roomba for xmas.. really cool stuff!)
