Interference for metal-polyacetal assembly

Hi friends,

I have had difficulties to specify right interference for assembly of a metalic bear into a hole of a polyacetal part (Diam. 2,60). Could anyone help me?? I need a fix fit.

Howdy Yochio,

I assume your dimensions are metric.
A 1-3% interferance fit will give a nice tight joint. A metal clip outside the plastic
will avoid relaxation effects.
