Dear all,

I am trying to compare two models (three-phase and one-phase) with abaqus 6.4 to evaluate the displacement with same tensile load.

when "contact" taken into account several warning appear and finally aborted.

meanwhile, there is no friction between phases.
warning:

"overconstraint check: the model is over constrained in this increament due to the interactions among nodes in node set warnnodeoverconzeropivotstep1 inc1 inter1" and several warning like "solver problem:zero pivot when processing D.O.F 1 of 3 nodes. the nodes have been identified in node set warnodesolvprobzeropiv _1_1_1_1_1".

Dear All,

let me add some more detail.

phases in three-phase model have different elastic modulus.
Boundary condition in both model is the same.
