hi everybody,
i have two chillers plant controlled by siemens s7-300 station,this station software includes FB used two times in station's software (for each chiller),this FB has two instance data blocks(for each chiller). when i monitor one of them (FB) i see the parameters flactuating between the two instance DB. why ?

any response will be appreciated.

Did you make sure when you generated the Instance number of the Data block that you used 2 different DB no.

create the db instance from Block type FB number, but use seperate data blocks for each instance. Then montor the or manipulater the Instance DB adress

hi,

goto 'Simatic Manager'; press F1 for help-index;
then type in 'Call evrionment'.
You can find a description also here:
http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21671563

To monitor a FB directly with call-up path:
In 'Simatic manager'-'View' change to 'Online';
Choose the program-block where the FB is called.
In register 'Debug' - 'Operation' choose 'Test Operation'.
Now go to the rung where the FB is called and click in
the box (left click) to highlight the box.
Right click --> 'Called Block ' --> choose
'Monitor whith Call-up Path'.
Now you can monitor the FB with the desired DB.
