Installation on Vista

It seems that every Windows Vist I try to install Matlab7 on the folder selection menu during installation a window will pop up saying:

No MATLAB found

You must install MATLAB with your other products.
Please select MATLAB.

Eventhoug MATLAB was never installed on the same machine.
Has anyone had the same problem and know how to overcome it?
