Insert Component in a Product

We apply nameplates to many of our products, but I would rather not create empty models for these, just to get them to show in the BOM. I tried using the "Component" command, which is nice, except that It does not number the component in the BOM. I need the faked component to be numbered and recognized by catia.

Is there a way to have these components added to the BOM with a number applied?

The component should be used when you don't want it in the BOM. It works like a container (grouping parts) inside the product not like a sub-product.
