insert capacity : 25e3 N

Hi, I am needing to design a potted insert that will accept 25e3 Newtons. This is higher than what I have seen so far. Can anyone direct me to info that will point me in the right direction as to the thickness of face sheets and core density to accommodate this load?

This is going into a composite /core laminated panel as a shear load? 2.5 tons is quite a point load.

I observe some equations with even Greek alphabet being inserted through the forum texts. How can I do this task?

Can you use 4 smaller inserts? I remember one problem is that the edge of the aluminium flange locally cuts into the skins, so we'd reinforce the skins (a lot) and taper the flanges to give better load transfer

To which I'd add we'd always use a through the whole lot feature, not these potted things, typically an aluminium top hat and thick washer on the bottom skin.
