Insert/Assy Features/Split

Insert/Assy Features/Split

When I put a split in the above way, the wrong side disappears. How do I change what catia keeps and what it throws away? I want to keep what is presently deleted, and I want to delete the other side

After you choose the part to remove material, there are a couple arrows that you will see in the part (default green I think, not for me). Flipping these around will dictate which side you choose to keep/remove.

Give that a try and let us know.
