Can i have an input file in SAP similar to STAAD? If so how can i go to the input file mode? Kindly help

The closest thing to a STAAD .std file is the .s2k file in SAP2000. SAP2000 also offers the ability to model with spreadsheet, Excel and MS Access. Most, but not all functionality in SAP2000, can be accomplished faster and easier using the graphical user interface
