What would be the best way of modelling a cylinder which has a side/curved surface that could stretch, as if flexible and inflatable? I would then like to animate this model to show the sides inflating and deflating. The ends/discs would remain fixed, in terms of dimensions, relative distance and orientation.
The aim of this exercise is to get an animation so, if a realistic 3D model is not possible, a 2D side view would suffice.
