Inferring ambient tempearture from ambient pressure 1

Can anyone share ideas about how feasible it is to infer ambient temperature from ambient pressure?
 
My take on the above (original + 2 posts) is that the answer to the question posed is "no."
 
I think that the settled science says that the answer is no.

You can infer temperature from a known pressure if you also know V, n, & R, and have equilibrium.
