I am looking for an industrial connector that would be suitable to design into a portable temperature datalogger. The single connector needs to accept the main TC types as well as RTD (2 and 3 wire). I am thinking of a circular connector with a field detachable cable option for the plug, but what about CJC? The PCB that the connector receptacle is attached to in the datalogger will be encapsulated in potting material, so having a CJC IC on that board will certainly be reading a different reference temperature then where the actual cold junction occurs which would be just outside the data logger. The datalogger needs to meet IP 67. If you have knowledge of some connector mfgs that might have an offering that would meet these requirements, please let me know.
