Hi all-
I am trying to import a NX Ideas 5 model into Ansys 11.0. The model contains numerous shell,solid,rigid,beam, and spring elements. Ideas contains a export Ansys utility but has failed numerous times. I have also tried exporting my model as a .dat file and inputting into Ansys but also failed. So how can I bring a NX Ideas 5 FEM into Ansys 11.0 is the basic question?

And I am also using Ansys 11.0 classic but have access to workbench if need be.
