Importing complex geometry into Abaqus

I have a DXF file with a triangulation.. I can not export it from autocad to any abaqus input formats for parts.. I can not use Rhinoceros either.. any help???

Can you convert the dxf into another format before importing it to abaqus? i.e. step or iges?
