Hi,
I have a model generated in solidworks, made of several beams (parts) that I latter used to buit the model in an assembly. The beams are supposed to be welded between them. What should I do after importing the model to ANSYS? Is it only necessary to VGLUE the beams?
Thanks

Or you can use VADD (removes internal boundaries), depends on how you want to maintain your geometry. You can also specify tied contact to achieve the same thing.
