import Pro/E model

Let me start by saying I'm a new Pro/Mechanica user. Very new. I'm having problems trying to import a Pro/E part into Mechanica, the only message I get is 'Error in reading Pro/E part'. This happens on any Pro/E part. Any ideas?



I've been able to read in an IGES file, but not a Pro/E part.
 
Which version of ProE and pro mechanica you use?

Mechanica 2001. But I'm using it in stand alone mode. At my office we use another CAD tool for modeling, but our sub contractors use Pro/E. I've managed to get a few seats of Mechanica tech checking and general FEA. I've been fighting to get a few seats of Pro/E...
