I dont use Solidedge but am looking for software that can cope with changes to iges files. For example a client sends me an iges file. I build parts and assemblies referencing the surfaces in the iges file. Then they send me an updated version, with similar but modified geometry. Is there a way in solidedge to replace the iges file references so that the model will update without falling apart (losing references etc). Solidworks, Inventor and Alibre cant do this. ProE can but I dont like its GUI.
