Hello!
How to read a file as a text in FEMAP?
writing the comands in the file and after read tis file.

Change the file extension of your text file to whatever input file type your solver uses (.bdf for NASTRAN) then, in FEMAP, go to file/import/analysis model, choose your solver, hit OK, then point to your data file.

Thank you!
But i´m dificult with the commands of the FEMAP
How to put it in a list, for exemple to crete a rectangle
of length arest one, after create a surface and a mesh.

Y on earth would you want to build a model with text instructions ? ... it'd be Way easier to write a NASTRRAN .bdf file and import that into FeMap.

I'm sure FeMap has something similar to PATRAN's session file (which records the partran instructions for building a model), but I've never had to resort to using it (as the GUI is good enough).

Hi

Perhaps you are after the program file (pro-file). With that you can record your actions in the gui and also write text commands. I have never used it like that but it should be possible.

Oh my! I think it would be easier to read the FEMAP manual and learn to use that interface...and a lot more powerful in the long run.
