import expression as locked

It's possible to define expressions in a text file as a list or string and they import correctly. Is it possible to define an expression as locked in the text file so it imports as locked? I tried creating some expressions as locked and exported them but when the ".exp" file was opened the expression was plain with no modifiers.

I suspect that there is no way to do that from an imported text file. I'm sure though that there are Open API commands to do that if the idea was to automate something like this.
