I'm searching for implantable electrical connectors that will be used to power a LVAD (left ventricular-assist device). Does anyone have any ideas which type of connector would be moisture proof? Would you recommend a screw-type or a snap-lock-type connector or something entirely different?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Could you use a coil fully covered with biocompatible plastic ( teflon? polyethylen?) and fedd it inductivelly
through the skin? It could receive both power and control
signals.
