I am trying to predict the Z(f) curve of an inductor with very many turns (tens of thousands) starting from the known geometry, winding and material properties. I know from some measurements that the inductor resonates at a couple of kilohertz (not mega, not giga, but kilo) and has multiple resonances too. The resonances are due to the intrinsic distributed capacitances of the coil (displacement currents). Does anyone know (preferably from direct experience) of any electromagnetic FEA software capable of handling this?
Thanks
