hi i was wondering if anyone has used the impco 425 as a blow through. i have a 4.2 landcruiser with supercharger
and each time i put the hat on it suck's the diaphragm
open and stall's engine any help would be welcomed
I don't know anything about the impco carb, but on gasoline carbs one successful method for blow-through is to put the whole carb in a pressurized box so you still maintain the necessary pressure differentials. This would work if your diaphram is referencing atmospheric pressure.
Hello,there is a balance plug on the carb. You need to put a line from this hole and connect it to te pressure side above de valve so de pressure is the same above and onder the valve. I hope this solves your problem. greets from The Netherlands.
