Hi all,

I need some information.

This is the filter I am currently using:

It is a ceramic 455KHz filter. Insertion loss between 0 and 5 dB. Currently 3 dB down bandwidth of 10 KHz.

What I need is a 3 dB bandwidth of around 20 KHz. The center freq can be between 400 KHz to 500 KHz not much else is critical.

Can someone direct me were I can find a filter that might or will work.

Thanks

Thank you VE1BLL,

That did help. I found a few filters I went over that might work.

It's a real pain trying to find what I am looking for.

Thank you again.

If anyone else has an idea please post.

Thanks all.

Also, the telephone-book-size catalogs of the major electronic parts distributors (Newark, Digikey) typically have small sections listing various IF filters. I seem to recall browsing those sections within the past year or so. At least they might lead you to the manufacturers names.
