ICF Waffle Grid Wall Design

What are most people using for the design of ICF Walls when they fall outside the Prescriptive limitations of the IRC and HUD guidelines?

I have run into my first project that is outside the prescriptive requirements for ICF design given by the IRC and HUD.

The manufacturers information basically mirrors the IRC's information.

I thought that PCA had some Structural procedures for ICF walls, but I couldn't find the book. I would think there would be some design guidance other than the prescriptive stuff somewhere.

Cool. I think that may be exactly what I'm looking for.

If the wall is a older "waffle" grid system instead of the more common systems using separate flat parallel EPS forms tied with structural ties for forming purposes, it may not apply to the referenced standard because of the continuous EPS ties connecting the face shell since the wbs form a discontinuity of the concrete portion of the walls and a totally different structural load resistance.

Of course, the structural analysis applies to he concrete portion of the walls and not the finished in-place wall exterior dimension since the EPS is is just a non-structural form. Usually, the structural portion of the wall is 2" or more less than the exposed thickness.
