Can anyone supply a resource that could speak about, steel piling in a shallow water body that will be subjected to ice and moving ice caused by wind. The site is in the Pairies of Western Canada. How does one design a pile shaft size (Thickness) that will stand up to these environmental forces? These are free standing open top pipe piles that will be suitably embedded into the soils below the water. Or is there no cause for concern?

I know the bridge code in canada outlines ice loading for piers.
