For an IBIS documentation one thing we need is to specify the voltage range for the typical/min/max cases that a buffer will go through.

The question I had is how does one determine the voltage range for each pad.

When I goto my case list I will get a list of voltages being used for the circuit, though I am not sure how to identify which one will be applied to what buffer.

Do I look into the schematics, and look at the buffers to see what is powering them? Or is it asking what voltage range is expected to be seen across the buffer? For example the DQ pins on a particular circuit will go from 0 to 1.5 in a typical case, will that be the range? Or do I need to look at the the min case and max cases and get the range from that?
