As my subject line states, how do I do this. I have read and read and read and no where do I find how to create my very own 2D symbols to use in Solidworks and save them to be used later as needed.

These will be 2D symbols to be used in Mech drawings nothing to do with Elec things. I do not want to use an existing symbol and modify it.

In Pro-E you create your symbol and save if off to the library your done that simple but with Solidworks so far it appears to be another complicated not easy to do thing.

Your help will be appreciated.
