Hi,
I want to buy a new laptop, and would like your advice, I use solidworks, illustrator and photoshop:
the guy at the store recommended 2 options:
1. toshiba setellite p50-b-10v , which has screen resolution of 1920*1080 and AMD Radeon R9 M265 2GB graphic accelerator

or

2. Lenovo IdeaPad Y50-70 Touch 59440313, which has screen resuolution of 3840*2160 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 2GB graphic accelerator.

I know these are not graphic accelerators that are approved by solidworks and I'm not really too familiar with the subject, but will they work with solidworks?
Is there justification for 4K resolution on a 15'6 screen vs normal HD?

I strongly suggest going with the DELL PRECISION LAPTOPS with the 2 year warranty. At Design engine thats all we buy. If you want to be on the thrifty side then I suggest doing the google search for DELL REFERB. Once you get the sales associate on the phone they can see product that is not online yet.
