Before anyone comes they will probably ask you the following questions / ask for
What is the wall made of?
Does it sound "solid" or is it "hollow" in places?
What is directly above it / do you have dimensioned floor plans?
What is underneath it?
Do you know and can you find out where the floor above beams go relative to this wall (in line or at 90 degrees?)
Do you want to leave part of it there or completely remove it?
Are there any services (pipes, cables, switches, sockets) in any part of the wall you want to remove?
It has all the hall marks of a simple dividing non structural wall, but you need someone to look at it to avoid a very expensive mistake.
And that's not your local builder....
