I am trying to do 2D Mesh to wheel and fill with tetra 3D. Wheel is having repeatative slots (for example holes for bolts) about the axis of the wheel. My strategy is to mesh the one bolt hole and copy the elements (rotate/reflect) throughout the other holes of the wheels to avoid individually each hole. But once I finish copying elements; when I tried to automesh remaining unmeshed surface; the mesh doesn't show connectivity with mesh elements of holes which are created by copying. How to get the surface meshed which has nodal connectivity with adjacent mesh? Please see the picture of the mesh at following link to see my mesh connectivity problem.
