Hydrogen sulphide& CO2 removal of grondwater with degassing

A lower pH assits in Hydrogen Suphide removal from groundwater if degassing used this will also drive off CO2 making Hydrogen Sulphides Harder to remove by increasing pH.Is there other method of removing hydrogen sulphides before degassing CO2 such as Ozone?

Lower the pH to 5.5 and degas using a forced draft packed tower aerator. You will remove both gases simultaneously.

You should first determine how much hydrogen sulfide is present. Then you have evaluate the removal in light of your application.

The most common removal method would be aeration or degasification, and/or chlorination. Chlorination is most economically applied to remove the residual after aeration. Lowering the pH will work, but whether it is practical or not depends on the particular application.
