Hi,
I'm HVAC engineer in France, and I'm working about an unsual subject, the petroleum counting system design. I would like to determine the inside diameter of pipes. It seems that it would suffice to fix the diameter in order that the maximal flow could circualte at maximal velocities.
Does Someone know the maximal acceptable velocities in pipelines for gas and liquid hydrocarbon?
Maybe values exist in standard conditions of pressure and temperarture (15°C, 1013mbars) and we must carry out the design for these standard conditions.
Thank you to help me on this subject.
