I have an application requiring a hydraulic motor that will deliver 5,000 to 6,000 ft*lbf of torque at 10 to 20 RPM. Does anyone have experience with any specific manufacturers (Hagglunds, etc.) of hydraulic motors in this size range?
What does "low speed, high torque" mean exactly? ... or similarly, "high speed, low torque"... are there numbers that are standard for these descriptions (is "low torque" from zero to 1000 lb-ft for example?), or are these just "feel" words? I don't like feel words.. I want numbers!!
and look in the "Designers Guide" for hydraulic motor manufacturers and some input on sizes. Bud Trinkel
