I am currently looking for some good a/c load calculation, duct pressure drop and water piping pressure drop programs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can get good and free downloadable pipe pressure drop program from

There is one more excellent program at CARF is member of the eng-tips.

Check with McQuay(as suggested by HVAC68) for a good and free downloadable duct designer.

I never come across with any free heatload software so far. Contact York or Trane if you want to buy one.

Regards,

Mcquay has a very good psychrometric analyser, duct design software and a piping software too.

I have also so far not found a free heatlod software. Carrier has a very good heatload software more popularly known as the E20-II HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) in a Windows version. It's not free though.

Try "TRACE 700" By TRANE for the heat load calculation, it costs about 1900$ depending on what you need.
