We have HSS columns in a freezing area -4F,(-20C). The floor is an 8 in reinforced concrete on top 2 layers of rigid insulation on top 6 in heated slab. The temperature below the heated slab is 40F,(+4C). Constant condensation is expected in the columns. How to get rid of the condensation water is our concern. Any ideas?

Thank you for your help.

SAMO,

You should provide wood blocks beneath the base plate of HSS column.
