In a jam. Existing 1.5" .135 t-23 welded to t-91 ( a stub) welded to heavy wall 2.25 cr upper header.
Every tube across panel. Forced outage.
Doing it by the book. Well versed in the specifics. Electrical resistance preheating is a huge production hog. Doing it on the header as well as the tube side.
I have read most of what's out there. All recommend er preheating.
The question:
If I keep heaters on the header... Can I propane pre heat the tube? Thinking adding tcs to the tube side, hand held propane, no flame on the tube, temp sticks.... All that.
Will it work?
