How to use fasteners efficiently?

I created an assembly of "TSLOT" parts and they all use a generic 1/4-20 bolt with a blind nut that slides into the slot.

Basically the assembly is now as final produce just without any of the fasteners. I have applied one nut and one bolt so far, (actually have done them all manually) but want to now insert mini patterns of NUTS&BOLT at all the specified locations. Is there a way to do this with a "pattern" command? or..

any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks
Ryan.

Ryan,

when *all* holes are created at once that is as one feature
you may use this as pattern. It won't work for holes created
by cutout, however.
Just insert one Bolt/Nut, use the Pattern Parts, click on
the Bolt/Nut, select the part containing the holes, click
on one hole (all should be highlighted then) , click on
one hole to be used as reference (the one the bolt is inserted), finish

I don't know how to insert 'home made' parts into the
standard parts library so that the could later be used
by the SE fastener system. With this feature no pattern
is required and the holes can be made by using the cutout
or holes feature

the problem is.. that the parts that have the holes are not just one. The axis of the holes are not all in one direction. I have 6 axis's of holes (both directions of all three)

So perhaps the best solution is to make the "brackets" an assembly of the fasteners too? Will that affect the BOM?

Ryan,

maybe I wasn't that clear:
[...]

[...]

does mean: all holes that should be used as pattern in *each*
part. In case the holes in each part are created as above but
are in different planes/axis you can use them as pattern
only as long as they are on one plane. This I think also
applies to the fastener system.
