Note this, AISC table 3-6 is maximum total uniform (kips) load for a braced (Lb=<Lp) simply-supported spans bent about the strong axis (Ix).
To get the kip/ft you have to divide the load maximum total uniform(kips) by the span of your beam (span,ft). The moment capacity (plastics) are also at the bottom of your table --> beam properties
Example, assume W44x355. If you beam is braced(Lp) at 12.3ft or less you can proceed to use this table. For a 21ft span, my beam can support = 2310/21=110kip/ft(LRFD) [1540/21=73.333kip/ft (ASD)]
For a 32ft span, my beam can support = 1520/32=47.5kip/ft(LRFD) [1010/32=31.5625kip/ft (ASD)].
Both beams have the same moment capacity per the table.
For 21' ---> wl^2/8 = 110*21^2/8=6063.75kip-ft
For 32' ---> wl^2/8 = 47.5*32^2/8=6068kip-ft
