How to stop a process definitely from my application's main figure?

Hi anyone,

My program execute a certain process. I need to be
abble to cancel it at any moment by pressing a button without going out my application.
It would be a kind of CONTROL+C but it would occur while the application's main figure is opened, i.e., without going out the application.

Hi,
You have to create the button with a handle and path it to your program. In different points (or in a main loop) put the following lines:
v=get(hbutton,'value'); % say hbutton is the handle
if v
return % or 'pause' if you just want to pause
end
