Is there a way to create a displacement along a path? It's almost like a dynamic analysis but I don't want any dynamic forces; only static forces.
And I need to capture stresses and strains at various positions along the path.
The picture below shows an example of what I want to do. The model is a simple representation of a finger. The back side of the model is fixed while the front side of the model moves like a finger would. The cut out in the middle is like a knuckle. I want the motion to follow the path outlined by the line with the arrow shown in the picture.
