Hi all,

in drafting module, working with drawing dimensions, when tolerance is aplied, for example ISOCOMB, it shows the tolerance and nominal value, I want to show de max and min values of a dimension, does anybody knows how its done? I have seen it in a customer drawing and I would like to use in my drawings.

Im using CATIA V5R2012 ,(i know is an old version, it's what my company works with )

Thanks in advance.

1. Change the 'Tolerance Description' setting from ISOCOMB to TOL_RES2

2. Set the tolerance for the dimension either by selecting a tolerance in the drop-down list, or in the case of asymmetric tolerances, by typing in the tolerance manually after clicking in the tolerance cell
e.g. +0.03/+0 and select 'Enter'. The asymmetric tolerance is added to the selection of values in the list.

3. To display the requisite number of characters after the decimal place, change the Numerical Display Description setting from NUM.DIM to ANS.DIM and if necessary modify the adjacent 'Precision' value till
the required post-decimal point character quantity is achieved.

Thank you,

I found that our company's page setup standard has disabled this tolerance type.

Ive just modified the xml and now it shows properly.
