I have multiple OEM versions of NX on my computer. I just switched to a new machine and on my previous machine, it was configured so if I opened OEMA's NX and then opened and PRT, it would launch into that active window. However the new machine, if I open NX and then open a prt from explorer, it launches vanilla NX to open the part instead of routing it to the active window. I assume this has something to do with the ugs_router batch file. I feel like I could figure out how to send it to one specific version of NX, but I can't figure out any way to make it send to the active window instead.

I do not remember how to fix this but the workaround is to drag -drop the file from an explorer window into the NX window.
There is , a setting in customer defaults for drag-drop -action under Assemblies.
