Hello,

When I see the stress results on ANSYS, I want to:
1-See an inner plane (make a cut of the model)
2-See results only for a selected plane.

Can you please tell me how I do that?

regards,
Hugo

Are you using ANSYS Workbench, or ANSYS Mechanical?

In Workbench there is a button at the bottom left of the screen that lets you draw section lines, this way you can section your model in half to see inside. If the button is not there, go View>windows>section planes and it should appear.

Alternatively, if you have a multibody analysis in Workbench, right click on the tree item (top left) of the body you want to hide and select "hide body".

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
I´m using ANSYS mechanical 13. I have a single solid, and when I plot the stress results, I want to see the results on the vertical mid plane. How can I do that?

regards,
Hugo Silva
