How to run a stress analysis with Catia v5?

Can be Catia v5 used for stress analysis? How does it work?

If I am a Design Engineer, is it worth spending time on learning Catia v5 Stress Analysis Tools?

What’s the difference between Catia v5 stress analysis tools and NASTRAN/PATRAN?

Yes, CATIA has several products that can be used for finite-element based analysis. GPS (Generative Part Stress) and GAS (Generative Assembly Stress) are quick and easy to use, but not as powerful as NASTRAN/PATRAN.

I think it would be well worth the time to learn. (most engineering students are taught FEA as part of the standard curriculum)
