I have an assignment that I quiet struglling with. We have a propane Tank that after inventory will hold around 6K lbs of propane. I have to come up with plans to remove that propane in order to let maintenance perform work inside the tank.
What can I use to remove , by flaring this remaining propane?

Cal your local propane distributor. They probably have a truck that is capable of pumping out a tank.
If not, phone around to their competitors. You will find one somewhere.

Agreed! Don't flare that sell it or give it away.

Hopefully you have a very VERY competent guide on how to do repairs inside a USED propane tank. That has deadly written all over it.

It would seem that having to ask such a question, the competence of making repairs to a propane tank is completely zero, unless of course the supposed poster is a "student" and his superior has set this as a learning exercise.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
