Hello
I have a cylinder with internal pressure increasing from 0 to 600 psi linearly. I want to see how the pressure is changing over time until yielding happens. How can I do that in a graph over time? I see in the field output "pressonly", is that the item I should consider and make output?
Thanks

so you're running material non-linear and a time dependent load … what code ? what solution ?

it "should" be easy to plot pressure vs time.

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

I assume that you are talking about Abaqus. Use the variable called P. It's available in field output requests under Forces/Reactions --> P, Pressure loads.

Thanks, I can see the pressure now, How can I plot it?

You can use XY Data —> Create —> ODB field output to plot this variable at selected location versus time.

I defined a set which is one element in the inner surface of cylinder. I see P at the top as a contour but I don't see this variable in the variables in ODB Field Output.
